Michael Gormley Obituary

GORMLEY,Michael, Sr. "Jim" Michael "Jim" Gormley, Sr. of Westville, NJ, died on June 3, 2009, with his family at his side, age 93. Mr. Gormley was born in Phila., PA and formally worked at the New York Ship Yard and Langston's in Camden. Jim founded the Glenview Marina in Westville with his late wife Millicent (nee Hamilton). Survived by his sons, Jim, Jr. (Lorraine) of Ponce Inlet, FL, John (Virginia) of Elmer, two daughters, Marie (Robert) Smizer of Westville, Millicent (Edward) Cleary of Deptford, a sister Ethel Neuffer of Westville, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Services on Tuesday 10AM at the ELLIS STIEFEL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Highland Ave., Westville, NJ, where friends may call Monday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday morning after 9:00 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville, NJ. The family request donations be made in his memory to a charity of the donors choice.
