Michael Karpiak Obituary

On August 30 2005 of Washington Twp. passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family age 86.
Beloved husband of the late Lillian (nee Butler). Devoted father of Michele Karpiak-Molloy and her husband Gregory M. Dear brother of Ann Camelli. Also Survived by many nieces nephews friends and his dear caretaker Phyllis Pacelli.
Michael was a veteran of WWII and the National Guard. He was part of the 16th Cavalry Unit in Fort Riley KS which was the last horse and soldier infantry unit mobilized in the US during WWII. Michael was a quiet gentle humorous and kind gentleman.
He was a devoted husband and father who loved the simple pleasures of life. He loved the outdoors and spent numerous hours working in his yard and garden. His quiet courage tenacity and resolve to meet life's challenges head-on was an inspiration to all who knew him and loved him.
A private family viewing was held at the EGIZI FUNERAL OF WASHINGTON TWP. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations in his memory may be made to a favorite charity of choice or to please do a kind deed for someone.. Condolences may be shared with the family at: www.egizifuneral.com
