AGE: 97 • Collingswood
On November 4, 2013 "Millie" (nee Palumbo). Beloved wife of the late great Clarence Franchetti. 1st generation daughter of the late John & Mary Palumbo. Dear Mother of Joseph C. (Joanne) & Gregory (Lynne) & nephew, Al (Sonny) Cerasi. Sister of Rosie Colarulo and the late Josie Petracci, Dolly Pancrazio, Ann Cianfrani, and Jim, Mike, Andy, and Charlie Palumbo. Devoted grandmother of Joe (late Christine), Jackie, Gregory Jr, & Jon (Shelly) (late Mom Lorraine), Jeff (Heidi), Jennifer, Jim (Taryn). Great grandmother of Stephanie, Nicole, Nicolette, Jonathan, Jeffrey, & Sophia.
"Aunt" Millie was a devoted Roman Catholic and a proud, generous and kind South Philly Lady. A successful businesswoman with husband (Franchetti's Market, Camden), she also worked for years at Strawbridge & Clothier (Cherry Hill) and as a gift shop volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She loved her Phillies, casino trips, bowling and cerebral scrabble with family and their life with best friends, the late Col Arthur & Marie Rogowski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation Saturday, 9-10:30am at Blessed Teresa Parish, St John's Church, 801 Park Ave., Collingswood. Requiem Mass 10:30am. Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr. Arr. by Blake-Doyle Funeral Home, Collingswood, NJ.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I grew up with Greg and Jon aka Pickle. I can remember them always going to Grandmoms on Cedar Ave. Collingswood Gang was always the GREATEST !!!! Cherish your Grandmoms Memory !!
