On September 8, 2013, of Camden, NJ. Age 55 yrs.
Beloved mother of Shushana Gant (Hi) and Shelena Gant (Tony), cherished grandmother of Tristian, Sean Patrick, Jordan, David and Evan, and dear sister of Maryann Endres, Sandra Lurtsema (Jack), Sarah Mercado (Jose), Jack Gant, Sr. (Deborah), Jill Whitaker, Edward Gant Sr., Thomas J. Gant, Sr. (Gale), and the late Edith Ritchie (Rich), and Elwood C. Gant, III (Sherry). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will begin at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested Memorial Donations in Shirley's name be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill NJ 08034. www.creranfh.com

Sorrowful time of loss of your Loving Mother
It Saddens me so much but I know that she is finally at peace with The Lord. For God only choses the very best to take home to be in his garden.
I met your Mom as her being my room mate in Cooper Hospital in April,2013 I believe God Planned that for us, for we became instant friends. She was such a lovely woman that came into my life with a Big Smile and Left it Leaving Foot Prints on my Heart that will never go away.
Last time I spoke to her on the phone she said to me "I just want to make it to my 56th Birthday" I did pray that this would come true for her, so very sorry that it did not.
I will always have Shirley in my heart and prayers. For to me she is someone that I do not believe anyone Could ever forget.

How strange I Read it that you are having the Guest Book on here till my Birthday 10/11/, yes I do believe God works in mysterious ways.
Shirley till we meet again may your Soul Rest in Eternal Peace
