AGE: 94 • Maple Shade

Vito Tocco, age 94, of Maple Shade, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012. Born in Omaha,NE he lived in Boston, MA before moving to Maple Shade with his daughter in 2007. He retired from Pasten Wine and Spirits in South Boston. Vito was an Army Veteran having served during WWII, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

Father of the late Philip Tocco, beloved husband of Betty (nee Robillard) Tocco, loving father of Denise (Larry)Lawler, father in-law of Donna Tocco, dear grandfather of Ed, Jr., (Darlene) Coletti, Anthony (Cris) Lawler, Elizabeth Lawler, Larry, Jr (Tammy) Lawler and Alice Lawler, adoring great grandfather of 11 and special great great grandfather of 6, also many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 27, 2012, 11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment will be private at a later date. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday 10-11AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Attn:Gift Processing, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Arrangements by the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, MAPLE SHADE, NJ.

Before becoming a Police Officer,in the early 80's,I had the pleasure of loading trucks with Vito at Pastene Wines and can honestly say he was one of the kindest and most hard working guys I ever met.Rest in peace my friend.You never were or never will be forgotten.
