Anita Carolyn Wise Bunner Hacker
Evansville, Ind.
Anita Carolyn (Wise) Bunner Hacker, died in Scandia, Minnesota, on Friday, March 21, 2014.
Born in Robards, Kentucky, she worked in the Vanderburgh County Auditor's Office for ten years before moving to Minnesota in 1973. Carolyn loved to care for flowers, was an avid reader, and liked to travel. She knitted by machine and had a keen eye for fashion. She and her late husband Hugh Hacker designed and built a home in a remote protected wildlife forest in Minnesota. She and Hugh founded IBAC Industries in Minnesota and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors are sons John Gaylord (Carole Jane) Bunner and David (Lana) Bunner of Evansville and daughter Anita June (Paul) Perry of Scandia, Minnesota. Grandchildren are John Kirk (Shaun) Bunner, Michael Bryce Bunner, Faril Bunner, Brett (Dawn) Bunner, Angela Perry, and Christopher Perry. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Evan Bunner, Lexie Perry, Drake Bunner, and Lexi Bunner.
Memorial services will be held in Scandia, Minnesota, in July.
