Barbara Moore Obituary
Evansville - Barbara Jean "Bobbie" Moore born in East Chicago, Indiana to Mary Clardy Fisher and Byrd Fisher on December 21,1938 went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2020 surrounded in the love of her family while at her home.
Barbara was one of the friendliest people you would ever meet. She was a hard worker and retired from Whirlpool. She enjoyed bingo, gardening, fishing, outdoor walks, and cooking. She loved and cherished her family she also loved picnics and gatherings. Most of all she loved the Lord. Enjoyed singing and playing her organ.
Bobbie was a loving wife and mother.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Byrd Fisher and Mary Clardy Fisher, husband John Charles Moore Sr., son Charles Fisher, Sisters Doris Carson (John), Birdie Cobb, Martha Thomas, grandchildren Aaron Witherspoon Jr., Siobhan Thomas Evans, Laquita Crenshaw, Larry Meriweather II, great grand children Phoenix and Pe"chince Battles .
Barbara is survived by brother; Clarence Fisher (Tarja), Sons; Jerry Fisher (Rhonda), John Moore Jr. ( Valerie) , Mark Moore (Jessica), daughters; Betty Moore, Judy Moore ( Richard), Charlene Moore( Mozell), Camelia Meriweather( Larry), 25 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to hospice for your help and support. Granddaughters Mary Meriweather, Monica Moore, Lateahia and Lakeahia Meriweather, LaTona Meriweather, and Ya'monie Moore for being her personal caregivers. A special thanks to the whole family with love. Special thanks to Charlene Moore for her support.
Visitation will be Monday 10am to 12 Noon with funeral to follow at Noon at Oak Hill Chapel. Osborne has been entrusted with final care.
