Chad Tharp Obituary
Winslow, Ind.
Chad R. Tharp,37, passed away July 16, 2015 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was born July 31, 1977 in Washington Indiana.
He is survived by: wife, Alicia; son, Landon; daughters, Olivia & Camryn; father, Terry Tharp; mother, Karen Elaine; brothers, Brian & Zach Tharp; sisters, Melissa Alldrege & Alison Austin; step brothers, John & Aron Albrecht; and grandmother Marjorie Tharp.
Chad was a Police Officer with the Pike County Sheriff's Department located in Petersburg, Indiana. Chad taught Criminal Justice and coached wrestling at Pike Central Middle & High School.
Funeral services will be held at the Pike Central High School Gym on Thursday, July 23rd at 2pm EST. Revs. Josh Luker & Jerry Blackwell will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July, 22nd at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg from 2-8pm EST. A visitation will be held at PCH Thursday at 11am until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Children of Chad & Alicia Tharp. Checks are to be made payable to Edward Jones.
