Marvin Ellis Mallory Jr., 62, of Winslow, Indiana, peacefully passed on January 23, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital with his loving family by his side. Marvin was born on October 11, 1963, in Washington, Indiana to Lavada and Marvin Mallory Sr. Marvin married his caring wife, Jennifer (Schlachter) Mallory 20 years ago.

Marvin had many hobbies in his life he loved to paint and draw, collect rocks, crafting with his wife and he enjoyed woodworking, he often made canes and guns, he also loved to ride ATV's and dirt bikes. Marvin was an amazing and kind person he would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He loved to joke around and give his family and friends nicknames. His sisters and family often called him Marvin the Martian. He was truly loved by those who cared for him, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Mallory; his sisters, Lawana (Elden) McDowell, Susie (Buddy) Adkins; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Murphy, his parents, Lavada and Marvin Sr.; his brothers, David Mallory, Ronald Mallory, Michael Mallory, and Earl Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Marvin on March 28, 2026, at 3:00 (Central Standard Time) at the House of Mercy Fellowship Hall in Winslow, Indiana.
