Christopher Born Obituary
Evansville - Christopher M. Born, 56, of Evansville, passed away Friday, December, 27, 2019 at his home unexpectedly. He was born June 15, 1963 in Evansville to the late Gerald and Dora Jean (Long) Born.
Chris was a 1981 graduate of Reitz Memorial High School, and served 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps after graduation. Chris was a Service Advisor at Kenny Kent Toyota and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking for the family, boating, fishing, hunting, and gardening. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jill (Muehlbauer) Born; daughter, Ashley (Russell) Gray; sons, Eric (Mallory) Born, Todd (Brittany) Born, Tyler (Fiancé, Heather) Williams; grandchildren, Aaron Gray, Aidan Gray, Ashton Gray, Cameron Born, Lily Born, Lexi Born; brothers, Tim (Brenda) Born, Gary (Diana) Born, Rick (Erin) Born, J.C. (Shelly) Born; sisters, Peggy (Bill) Vogt, Laura Jean Litzerman; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Trevor Litzerman.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 Lodge Ave., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Father Alex Zenthoefer officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westwood Church Missionary Fund, 121 S. Boehne Camp Rd., Evansville, IN 47712 or Annunciation Parish, 3010 Chandler Ave., Evansville, IN 47714.

I am sincerely at a loss for words, this was just too much of a shock for this to happen to anyone of our siblings.
While we were miles apart our love for one another was second to none.
I look forward to seeing you on the other side brother. And, as you always said to me when i answered the phone - 'How are you today sir?' Trust me when I say I will ask you the same when we meet again Christopher Michael.
Please keep 6 seats warm for all of us for we are all pretty confident we will be joining you in years to come brother.
While I may not have shown it as we should on a very regular basis, I am certain you know i loved you dearly even though you could AND would ... LOL
With my love brother, I miss you terribly. See if you can get liberty for some weekend to come to see us.
