Donna Baxter Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Donna R. (Bristow) Baxter, 75, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Donna was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 16, 1938 to the late Sherley "Bud" C. and Ruth L. (Steele) Bristow. She worked as a secretary for local insurance companies. Her greatest joy was helping and entertaining children. Donna was a foster grandparent and was a member of the River City Clowns. She also volunteered at the Salvation Army in the Christmas Toy Town. She attended Christian Fellowship Church, where she was a volunteer.
Donna is survived by her son, Michael S. (Kim) Baxter of Rockport, IN; sister, Darla L. (Dennis) Rothert of Elizabethtown, KY; brother, Douglas Bristow of SC; grandchildren, Michael Sean Baxter, Heather Bottomley (David), Kendra Hines and Rachel-Victoria Baxter; great grandchildren, Katelynn Baxter and Hunter Bottomley.
A celebration of her life will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Cliff Herring officiating.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until service time Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Road, Evansville, IN 47725.
