Duane Taylor Obituary
Newburgh, Ind.
Duane Taylor, 73, of Newburgh, Ind., passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He was born April 5, 1942, the son of the late Darrell Glenn and Helen Elizabeth (Euler)Taylor.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Duane worked for the Evansville ARC, the Escalade, Zenith and Whirlpool Industries and also was a manager for Hahn Systems. He was a member of CHING.
Duane is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Marilyn C. (Woodsmall) Taylor; his daughters, Tina (Eric) Scott and Sherianne Capper; his siblings, Gary (Debbie) Taylor and Patricia Powers; his grandchildren, Brett Hamby, Stacia Slover, Andrew Capper and Emily Reiner; six great-grandchildren; his pets, Sophie, Charo and Violet; and nieces and nephews.
A special Thank You from the family to the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice of Jasper, Ind., and especially to Brenda and Leslie.
Visitation for Duane will be on Monday, January 11, 2016, from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will immediate follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Vanderburgh Co. Humane Society or the Warrick Co. Humane Society. Online condolences may be offered at www.sunsetevansville.com.

I have great memories of the many rounds of golf we played at Santa Teresa Country Club when we all lived in El Paso. And of course the practical jokes Duane loved to play on people. Rest in peace old friend.
