Frank H. Petersohn, 84, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Newburgh Health Care. He was born October 22, 1932 in Forrest Park, IL to the late Herbert and Margaret (Schultz) Petersohn.

Frank was owner and operator of Jewett Davidson Company retiring in 2007. He was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Frank was a member of Evansville Jaycees and member of the Jaycee Old Timers. He was graduate of Valparaiso University and veteran of the U.S. Army. He was past president of Rolling Hills Country Club, where he was a avid golfer. Frank was past president of Ducks Unlimited and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was well known for his love of horse racing especially picking the winners.

Frank is survived by his sons, David J. Petersohn of Evansville and Clifford R. Petersohn (Diane) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Adam and Lara Petersohn; brother Carl Petersohn of La Grange, IL; sisters, June Grounds of St. Paul, M and Elaine Knaack of La Grange, IL; nieces and nephews

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Donna who passed away in 2014 of 60 years.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. noon on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 1811 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714.

The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p. m. noon at the church with Rev. Thomas Wenig officiating.

Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, Evansville.
