Dear Frank,
Our daughter, Leann Beaven who lives in Newburgh told me about your Dad. Your parents were always very special to me. In fact, as I am now an United Methodist Pastor myself and there was a lesson they taught me about talking with someone who was having a problem. At the time, I thought it was good advice for me as an active lay person. Sure didn't think then I would use it as a pastor.
I remember being in your folks home many times and your Dad always kidding me about our large family. They both were always such gracious people to me.
I remember they used to sit in front of us at the "old Epworth" and it was your Dad that got several laughs from Linae when she was about three talking about every Sunday when we came to church all Huie ever talked about was God. Linae was your Scott's age.
So I have very fond memories of The Baker Family and count it a blessing to have known your Dad and Mother both. Remembering you and your family in prayer.

Dear Frank:
I just happened to be looking at the Evansville C & P when I noted your Dad's death...I have such fond memories of both your Dad and Mom!
They were always so kind and hospitable, and offered much encouragement to a very young pastor. (I was just 25 when I went to be their pastor!!)
And we spent many enjoyable hours at church and in their home...
I pray your grand memories of your Dad will comfort you, and that our Loving God will bless you at this time.
Love in Christ,

P.S. I now serve a large Methodist Church in Carmel, Indiana.
