Gary was a valued, contributing member of Evansville Veterans For Peace. He suspended his membership to take care of his beloved Kris. We knew Gary as a gentle man with a steady, thoughtful approach to problem solving. His service as Secretary of our VFP chapter occurred early in the group's life and set a high standard for us all.
Rest in peace, brother.

I worked with Gary at Alcoa. I enjoyed working with him and talking about things in general. He will be missed. Sorry

Gary was a good man, a good neighbor of 30+ years and a fellow Marine. Rest in Peace and Semper Fidelis Marine.

Gary and Kris were both great friends. My sympathy goes out to Mike and Matt and the other family members. Gary was always so kind and let me and Kris do our genealogy fun projects while he would patiently wait on dinner to be cooked or he just did it himself. Sadly we didn't keep connected after Kris passed but he was a very devoted husband to her always. Sad day when we heard the news. Sharon and Norman Patmore

I just recently met Gary even though we had been neighbors for approximately 10 years. He came to my rescue when a tree fell on my garage a few months ago. It was so nice meeting him. Such a kind man. Saddens me that he passed away. Prayers for all.
