John Dolan Obituary
Evansville - John E. Dolan, 83, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital. He was born June 9, 1937 in San Diego, California to the late Maxine (Murphy) and Edward Dolan.
John graduated from Bosse High School in 1956 and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at A&H Truck Lines, now Advance Truck Lines, for 30 years until his retirement. John was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a former member of Nativity Catholic Church. He was a member of Teamsters Local 215 and Evansville Athletic Club. John enjoyed traveling, NASCAR and loved hunting, fishing and camping at Prides Creek. John loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalee (Wolf) Dolan; son, Brian (Angie) Dolan; daughters, Donna (Tim) Racine and Kristy (Todd) Frankenberger; grandchildren Nathan (Michelle) Dolan, Randy (Danielle) Dolan, Chelsea Dolan (Zach), Morgan (Kody) Maurer, Hunter Frankenberger (Megan), Emma Racine and Dalyn Frankenberger; 7 great grandchildren and expecting 4 more; and his brother, Robert Dolan of Gold Canyon, AZ.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his great grandson, Remington John Dolan.
Private funeral services will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Father Henry Kuykendall will be officiating.
Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Dolan Family, so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. I have so many wonderful, happy memories of time spent at your house and in your camper at Diamond Lake. In my mind, Eddie was always smiling. You could feel his laughter it was so large!
