Larry Catt Obituary
Petersburg - Larry Gene Catt, 82, of Petersburg, passed away January 24, 2021 in Jasper, IN. He was born July 28, 1938 in Pike County to Walter and Delta (Willis) Catt. Larry attended Petersburg High School and graduated in 1956. He graduated from Oakland City University with a Bachelors Degree in 1960. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Larry retired after a lifetime of working for the railroad. After retirement he spent a lot of his time volunteering and serving on the board at Somebody's Place in Petersburg, IN.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joyce Catt; daughter, Angie Brawdy; grandchildren, Olivia and Ethan Brawdy; brother, Jack (Nev) Catt; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Gary Catt.
A graveside service will take place at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 27, at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN with Pastor DJ Bryant officiating. Masks and social distancing are required to attend the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Somebody's Place at 27 W. Locust St. Petersburg, IN 47567. OD Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
