Laurel was one of my best friends in high school. I was so fond of her generous and caring attitude that she displayed not only towards her peers, but towards animals. I'll never forget the days when Laurel would wear her work boots to school because she was going to go take care of Soxie after class. I miss her dearly and will never forget the profound impact that she has had on my life.

My heart goes out to you. I know how I would feel if I lost one of my children. While I didn't know or have even met your daughter she has a wonderful and warm smile. I'm sure she was a delight to be around.
May God comfort you in your time of grief. We will offer prayers for you all.

My daughter Drew graduated with Laurel and we are very sorry to hear she has passed away. Drew talked about the deep commitment and charitable efforts Laurel made to ensure the well being of animals. These are the actions of a young woman who is pure of heart.
She will be truly missed.
We extend our deepest sympathy to your family.
