Marlene M. Rhoads, 84, of Boonville, Ind., passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Transcendent Healthcare North of Boonville, Ind.
Marlene was born in Warrick County, Ind., on September 25, 1933, to the late Porter and Nera (Addington) Barnett.
Marlene was a member of Baker Chapel United Methodist Church of DeGonia Springs, Ind. She had been a hairdresser for many years. Marlene enjoyed square dancing with the Warrick Promenaders.
Marlene is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald L. Rhoads, of Boonville, Ind.; children, Janet L. McConnell and her husband, Jerry, of Carroll County, Ind., Dale Brent Rhoads of Albuquerque, N.M., Gary Wayne Rhoads of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Abby McConnell, Chris McConnell, Christina Rhoads, Barrett Rhoads, Samuel Rhoads, Anna Rhoads, and Jacob Rhoads; siblings, Carl Barnett and Dorothy, James Barnett and Becky, Robert Barnett and Eric Lane; sister-in-law, Betty Dougan.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017, at Baker Chapel United Methodist Church in DeGonia Springs, Ind., with Rev. Randy Moore officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Ind.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Ind., and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Baker Chapel United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Baker Chapel United Methodist Church.
