Evansville, Ind.
Michael Meece, 56, of Evansville, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1960, to Wilma (Wilson) and Jerry Meece.
He worked as an insurance agent for many years. He attended Central United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Hadi Shrine.
Michael is survived by his wife, Tracy Meece, of Evansville; daughters, Alexis Blythe-Meece (Kit Mudd), of Louisville, Ky., Danielle Meece (Rudy Harvey), of Henderson, Ky.; brother, Mitchell Meece (Pam), of Newburgh; uncle, Donald R. Meece (Rose), of Evansville; aunt, Wanda Fonscea, of Eddyville, Ky.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Millner Industrial Dr., Evansville, IN 47710.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Michael and I worked at Xerox years ago and I'll never forget him.
He challenged me and made me a better sales guy (girl) and was great.
My prayers are with his family and friends.
I'm sorry I can't be in town for his memorial.
He was too young to pass the gates of heaven, but who is to say but the Lord.
