Michael Neidig Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Michael A. Neidig, 58, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
He was born Nov. 18, 1955, in Princeton, IN, the son of John E. and Viola M. (Greubel) Neidig.
Mike was a graduate of Ft. Branch High School class of 1973, and had work at Whayne Supply Company in Evansville for 31 years acquiring the rank of Parts Manager.
Survivors include a daughter; his siblings, John Neidig, of Wadesville, Janet Weiss, of Haubstadt, Sarah (Ed) Drake, of Franklin, KY, Jim (Cindy) Neidig, of Springfield, IL, Tom (Cathy) Neidig, of Ft. Branch, Barb (Randy) Dike, of Owensville, Larry (Cindy) Neidig, of Wooster, OH, Jackie (Jeff) Steckler and Rita (Greg) Wilzbacher, of Haubstadt; 21 nieces and nephews; 21 great-nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother, David.
Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m.on Monday March 3, 2014, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, with Father Tony Ernst, Father Brian Emmick and Father Ted Temple as celebrants. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville and 10 a.m. until the service hour at the church on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Caring Shelters 324 NW 6th St. Evansville, IN 47708, a place that was very near and dear to Mike's heart.
