I knew Robert when we were teenagers at church although I was older than him, I was a friend of his wife Judy. As we got married we drifted apart only to get reconnected a year ago, was so glad we got to see them again.
Robert we will meet again in heaven,

The memories that I have with Bob too special to put into words. Some day we will see each other again and talk about our times together. I always admired his unshakable faith.

Bro Bob was one of the kindest people that I have ever known. He was the kind of person that would do anything for anybody. So loving and kind, perfect example of how God wants us to be. He truly had Gods heart, and Gods love shined right though him. He made a impact during his time here. Even though we will see him again one one , it is still hard for those of us sauffering the loss of someone we love here on this earth. Our family sends our condolences to your family durning this hard time.

Pastor Robert (Bob) George was my brother in the natural and in the spiritual. He was always loving, caring, giving and had the heart of Christ. He would always be respectful and considerate of others even when he was a little boy. I loved my brother very much and tho my heart breaks, this I do know...he was a wonderful brother and he was a blessing to many but also a blessing and a inspiration to me. I love you Bob! Until we meet again

I had the pleasure to visit his church when he pastored in New Harmony a few times. He was always gracious and had kind and uplifting words of encouragement, he always used each moment to witness about the Lord.

I love this man so much!!! I came to know the lord under his ministry. What a passionate preacher. He sat with my family for over 12 hours while my brother had open heart surgery. He was an old school pastor with a heart for the lost. I am one of many pastors birthed out of his ministry. He will be missed but I know for sure ill see him again. And won't that be a hallelujah meeting when we step on the other side... when the saints of old are standing there to greet us and to welcome us across the tide.... we'll lift our hands together ... go shouting across the land and when you think it's just about ending it'll happen all over again.
-love you Bro. George!!!

Pastor Bob was a true man of God, and an example of what it means to live ones life fully devoted to God. He prayed for me many times and loved me without end when I was in my mess. I last talked to him at my mother's funeral, and cried and gave me the biggest hug when I told him I finally decided to answer the call of God on my life and was pastoring and preaching the gospel. He deposited things into my life, even though they took a while to take root, that resonated and pointed me back to the Lord. Thank you Bob George for giving to the Lord! I am a life that was changed! I'll see you again one day soon my friend!

I was Robert’s housekeeper during his stay at Deaconess. No matter what kind of pain he was in that day, he always talked about the Lord. Week after week, no matter what, he never complained about anything and always welcomed me with a smile on his face while giving me a Rice Krispie treat he had saved from his previous dinner. I asked him one time what’s the first thing he wants to eat for dinner when he gets home and his answer was a big steak!
Robert, I know you’re having the best steak dinner ever with our Lord by your side.
Rest easy Robert. Until we meet again.
