Sharon Ann (Sturm) Weinbach
Evansville, Ind.
Sharon Ann (Sturm) Weinbach, 79, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center. She was born September 16, 1934, in Evansville, to the late Frank and Gladys (Langford) Sturm.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but enjoyed volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harold Weinbach; and her parents.
She is survived by her sons, Steven and Allen; sisters, Linda Mattox, Martha Lease and June Soder; brother, Charles Lawhead; and several sisters and brothers in-law.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jan Du Bois, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 3540 Washington Ave., Evansville, IN 47714. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
