Debra Eckstein Obituary

Debra Kay Eckstein, 70, of Crestline, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Arbors at Delaware.

Deb was born on September 10, 1955, in Galion to the late Millard and Kathryn (Heckler) Eckstein.

Deb was a proud graduate of Colonel Crawford High School. She was a devoted member of Calvary United Church of Christ most of her life, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.

Debra will be remembered for her creativity and generous spirit. She had a deep love for crocheting and spent countless hours crafting beautiful pieces, from blankets to keepsakes, which she lovingly shared with family and friends. Each handmade gift was a reflection of her care and thoughtfulness.

She also found joy in collecting dolls, taking pride in her unique and cherished collection. Above all, Debra had a special bond with her beloved cat, Round-a-bout, who brought her great comfort and companionship.

Deb is survived by her twin nieces, Anastasia (Raymond) Eckstein and Andrea (Lindsey) Schlote, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her brothers, Steven and Mike Eckstein.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:00am, at Dapper Cemetery, 6871 Remlinger Rd., Crestline, OH 44827, with Pastor Diane Thomas officiating.
