Audrey Weippert Obituary
Audrey was born on December 30, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Fred H. and Myrtle E. (Pearsall) Glenn. She was the youngest of 13 children. On January 14, 1956, she married the love of her life, William Weippert, Sr. who preceded her in death on July 26, 2013. She spent her life providing a loving home for her family while working side by side with Bill on the farm. Audrey was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Paulding. Audrey was very involved in her church, being a part of women's groups and church circles over the years. She was also on the altar committee, the funeral dinner committee, and church council. She was a member of the Bunco card club and the Red Hat Society. Audrey loved crafting and sewing. She will also be lovingly remembered for her fantastic cooking.
Audrey is survived by her daughters: Lori (Rick) Dietrich, Lisa (Jim) Phlipot, and Jill (Sam) Hatcher, all of Cecil, Ohio; stepsons: Dr. William (Jane) Weippert, Jr. and Rick (Pam) Weippert, both of Cecil, Ohio; grandchildren: Adam Dietrich, Summer (Shade) Hoskins, John (Jana) Weippert, Jarrod (Sara) Phlipot, Jesse Phlipot, Jordan (Sabrina) Phlipot, Audra (Matt) DeAngelo, Taylor Hatcher, Spencer Hatcher, Nicholas Hatcher, Angie (Abe) Wyse, Laura (Matt) Lintz, and Nicole Weirauch; great grandchildren: Aubree, Brooke, Theo, John, Rachel, Emma, Chloe, Mila, Silas, Mason, Brayden, and Stella.
Audrey is also preceded in death by her brothers: Robert Glenn, Ernest Glenn, Wayne Glenn, Carroll Glenn, and Theodore Glenn; sisters: Dorothy Schoenegge, Marion Turk, Ruth Timpe, Catherine Glenn, Alice Krieger, Laurel Glenn, and Marilyn Connoly.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Clyde Singh officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson Township.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in Audrey's memory to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
