Charles Stroehl Obituary
Charles was born in Lidgerwood, N.D., on May 15, 1938. He attended a rural school and graduated from Lidgerwood High School.
He entered the United States Air Force upon graduation in 1955 and served his country proudly in many areas of the world as an aircraft maintenance man until his retirement in 1979. He went back to work as a civil servant, again in the field of aircraft maintenance, from which he retired in 1998.
Charles' survivors are his wife of 50 years, Verna Stroehl; his children, Kathi Edwards (Lee), Gary Stroehl (Sonja), Shawn "Butch" Stroehl (Jamie), and Shawna Crist (Rob). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Crestview. The Rev. Tech officiated. Burial was at Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
Brackney Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
