Albert Stasko Obituary
Albert G. Stasko Jr., age 73, of Easthampton, MA, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2024. He was born on March 3, 1951 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Albert Sr. and Edna Starrs Stasko. Albert was an electrician for IBEW #488 for many years and served his country in the US Navy, where he was a member of the Navy Construction Battalion Service. He enjoyed visiting the casino, Las Vegas and spending time with his family. Albert is survived by one son, Erik Stasko, three daughters, Heather Jones and husband, Seth, Tracy King and husband, Erik and Melissa Barrett and husband, Jason, six grandchildren, Ariel, Paige, Ian, Logan, Kayden and Jordyn, one sister, Kathleen Stasko, mother of his children, Linda Stasko and second wife, Sandra Stasko. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford. One of my closest friends through grammar school, Al was one of the most loyal friends a person could have. We enjoyed many good times together, taking the train to NYC and seeing rock groups perform at Murry the K shows at the RKO theater like Cream and the Who. We also were known to get into trouble with various pranks. Though we haven't seen each other since the 80's, I will always have fond memories of the times we spent growing up. R.I.P.
