Andrew J. Bandre
Andrew J. Bandre, age 86, of Newtown and formerly of Monroe, passed away April 30, 2021 in Newtown Health and Rehab. Mr. Bandre was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Andrew and Margaret Bandre. He was a retired electrician for CT Light and Power. He proudly served in the Navy and was a member of the Navy Seabeees. Mr. Bandre was a longtime member of the Calvary Evangelical Free Church and the Monroe Seniors. He loved driving cars, especially jeeps. His keen sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife Irene (Dudak) Bandre; his loving sister Sandra Knapp and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 10 :00 a.m. until the time of service. His committal service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd.Trumbull, CT with full military honors.
