Ann Marie Rose
Ann Marie Rose, an 86-year-old resident of Oxford and widow of Robert H. Rose, entered into eternal rest May 27, 2024. She was born February 14, 1938, in Bridgeport CT., daughter of the late Theodore and Olympia Avena DeLucia. She worked as a packager at Park City Packaging and Pack-All, Inc. until her retirement at age 80.
She leaves to cherish in her memory her son Robert Rose of Oxford with whom she resided, daughters Linda Morrissey of Oxford, Barbara Gelozin (Peter) of Shelton, Karen Besciglia (Frank) of West Haven, brother Anthony DeLucia (Paula) and sisters Christine Perrier and Rachel Engle, sister-in-law Florinda Rose, nine grandchildren Brian, Rebecca, Danielle, Ashley, Amy, Kelly, Robert, Joey and Taylor and four great-grandchildren, Julianna, Jack, Rosalie and Connor. She was predeceased by grandson Frankie Besciglia III, sister Annette Bashar and brother Vincent DeLucia.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from St. Lawrence Church of Shelton. Burial follows in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
