Anthony Brownstein Obituary

BROWNSTEIN Anthony Victor Brownstein Sr., age 73 of Milford, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 in his home. Mr. Brownstein was born in New Britain on September 11, 1934 to the late Anthony and Nellie Podolok Brownstein. He proudly served in the U. S. Marines during the Korean War. Before retiring, he owned and operated an engineering firm in Bridgeport. Mr. Brownstein is survived by his loving wife, Constance Yaglowski Brownstein; devoted son, Anthony V. Brownstein Jr. of Hyannis, Mass.; brothers, Carl Brownstein on Kensington and Adolph Achenback of New Britain; and sister, Marjorie Slaker of Wallingford. Calling hours are Thursday, October 4, 2007 in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2007 in St. Agnes Church, Merwin Avenue, Milford, at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Mt. Saint Peter's Cemetery in Derby. Donations may be made in his name to the charity of one's choice. To leave condolences or for directions, please visit our website @ www.georgejsmithandson.com.
