Barbara's obit said it best: you were blessed if you knew her. Barbara was my neighbor for over 20 years. I am blessed for having known her and I will miss her very much. My deepest sympathies go to her entire beautiful family and to her niece Thea, whom I've had the joy of knowing the past few years.

She truly was a dedicated woman and her love for her mother always was obvious. Sweet and determined individual nurse like her are fading away. I am sure that god welcomed her home with open arms!

To Betta's family.
My heartfelt sympathy upon your loss. My sister, Shirley Clifford Smolley, was a BHSN classmate of Betta (1958). Whenever Shirley would visit home (Ansonia), Betta would arrange to get her classmates together for a mini reunion. I know they remained close friends over these 70 years.
And Shirley loved Betta very much.
Heartfelt sympathy to all her family.
Love

I worked with Barbara many years in Bridgeport Hospital ER. Barbara was a great provider to all of her patients. She was a fun and caring person and made us laugh at all of her stories, she will be missed. May God Bless Barbara and may she rest in peace.

I met Barbara many years ago through her sister (my dear friend) Jean Tymok. Many a beautiful Sunday dinner we shared at Jean's (& Ted's), who was the ultimate hostess. My sincerest condolences to the entire Tyimok family. I will miss Barbara for the devotion she had for her family and the many stories we exchanged during Sunday dinner. R.I.P. Barb!
