Barbara Krajewski Obituary
Barbara A. Burns Krajewski, age 69, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Krajewski, passed away suddenly on June 1, 2021 in Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 28, 1951 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Matthew and Madeline Putt Burns. Barbara loved gardening, sewing, art classes, drawing and spending time with her family. Barbara is survived by one son, Ray D. Krajewski and wife, Amie of Shelton, one daughter, Dana Shannon Poundstone and husband, Derek of Woodbridge, grandchildren, Colin, Kai, Tyrus, Jordyn and Callen, one brother, Arthur Burns and wife, Lorrie of Florida, one sister, Marion Lecardo and husband, John of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:30 AM in St. James Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Monday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may contribute in Barbara's memory to the Stratford Animal Rescue, 225 Beacon Point Road, Stratford, CT 06615. I am so sorry to hear about Barbara. I worked at St. James for 2 years and during that time started a ministry weaving plastic bags into mats. Barbara knew how to crochet and her knowledge and spirit were invaluable! She will be missed. My prayers for your whole family. -Janine Walsh
