Barton Meyer Obituary

MEYER Barton D. (Bart) Meyer, age 64 of Fairfield, passed away Friday, August 29, 2008 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, to be with our Lord Jesus Christ for ever more Amen. He was born in March 25, 1944 in Mt. Vernon N.Y., grew up in Westport, and resided in Fairfield for the past 18 years. He was the son of the late Warren and Betty M. Meyer. Mr. Meyer, known to his friends as Bart, was a retired heating and air conditioning tech. He served many people throughout Fairfield County. Bart loved MGB cars and cats, enjoyed fixing things and had a brilliant mind. Bart will be missed. Survivors include two daughters, Heather R. Meyer and Danielle Meyer; a niece, Nicole M. Paul; a grandniece Alexandra K. Paul; and his brother, Kevin Meyer. Friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday at 11 a.m. in The Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport. Entombment will be in the Pilgrim Mausoleum of the Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with us all, and us with him. Amen
