Carmine V. Caparaso Sr.

CAPARASO Carmine V. Caparaso Sr., age 72, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Frances Adamo Caparaso, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Milford Hospital. A son of the late John and Jennie Casabona Caparaso, he was born in Jamaica Queens, N.Y., on February 23, 1932, and was a longtime resident of Milford. Mr. Caparaso was a warehouseman for 25 years at the Sears warehouse in West Haven before his retirement. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. Carmine enjoyed bowling for many years. Mr. Caparaso is survived by a daughter, Donna Fitzmaurice and her husband, Jim, of New Haven; two sons, Dale Caparaso and his wife, Mary, of Dade City, Fla., and Carmine Caparaso Jr., and his wife, Paula, of Monroe; two brothers, Larry Caporaso and Peter Caporaso and his wife, Carol; a sister, Frances Bove and her husband, Albert, all of New York; six grandchildren: Bethany, Zachary, Sydney, Courtney, Alyssa and Michael Caparaso. He is also survived by a dear friend, Vera Buffel. He was predeceased by a son, Andrew Caparaso; and a sister, Mary Mrozowski. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. in the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford. Committal will be private.
