Charlotte M. Zeitz, age 88 of Fairfield, CT, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Cambridge Manor of Fairfield, CT
Charlotte was born in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of the late Samuel and Sophie Chaiklin. She graduated from Bassick High School in 1954. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an insurance agent for many years. Charlotte enjoyed traveling to Disney, Las Vegas and the Amish Country and loved going to Mohegan Sun.
Charlotte is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Loretta Zeitz, daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and George Lornie, daughter Sandra Leary, her cherished grandchildren, Sarah Rousseau, Lisette Tesla, Amanda Lornie, Diane Leary, Justin Leary, her adored great-grandchildren, Miah, Rocco, Lucas, Lily, and by her brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sandra Chaiklin.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Fred Zeitz in 2021, her son-in-law Brian Leary and her grandson, Nicholas Lornie.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT, with interment following at Ahavath Achim Cemetery on Reid Street in Fairfield. Was saddened to see about her passing. Fred and Charlotte were patients of Dr Rose and myself for many years.
They were a matched set and loved helping them and taking care of them both.
