Christopher Monte Obituary

MONTE Christopher D. Monte, age 51, passed away on August 30, 2010 at the West Roxbury VA Hospital, West Roxbury, Mass., after a life long battle with Crohn's Disease. Chris was born in Bridgeport and was a Stratford resident for many years before moving to Massachusetts. He was a disabled U.S. Army veteran with the rank of Pvt. E2. Chris was a gentle and kind soul who loved his family and friends. Chris was predeceased by his father, Matthew S. Monte. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Gendron; his sister, Andrea Monte; brothers, Ted and Matt Monte; special niece, Brittany Monte; nephews, Matthew R. and Paul Monte; niece, Erika Monte; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Interment was in St. Michaels Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Services were private.
