David Fish Obituary

FISH David R. Fish, age 58, of Fairfield, owner of the Shelter Mortgage Company, died on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, the son of the late Dr. Frederick D. and Dorothea Heym Fish Thielcke, he had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. He was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School and Bryant College. David had been a branch manager at People's Bank and was a current member of the Fairfield Board of Realtors, and a former active member of the Fairfield Prep Father's Club. He was an avid golfer and Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed spending summers on Nantucket. David will be lovingly missed by his beloved wife of 32 years, Kathleen Grega Fish of Fairfield; two children, David F. Fish and Amy K. Fish, both of Fairfield; and sister, Sandra Fish Martin of New Bern, N.C. Among many things we will miss his sense of humor, smile, wit, generosity and love of family and friends. A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola at Fairfield University. Interment will be private. Calling hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492.
