David Guzowski Obituary
David John Guzowski, 58, of Orange, beloved husband of Gina (Rodriguez) Guzowski, passed away on May 9, 2021. Born on December 22, 1962 in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Barbara (Rava) Guzowski.
David was a family man through and through. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his children and wife. On weekends, David loved hiking and day trips with his family. He was inquisitive about the world and enjoyed his challenging career working as an engineer, testing the limits of his own brainpower. He was a consummate gear head, always tinkering with cars and motorcycles. He left incredible memories taking bike trips to the mountains with his brother and friends. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
In addition to his beloved wife, Gina, David is survived by his children, David Joseph Guzowski and Gabriella Emilia Guzowski; his granddaughter, Violette Scott Guzowski; his siblings, Stephan (Mary) Guzowski, and Jacqueline (Paul) Torcellini; his siblings-in-law, Juan Carlos (Zena) Rodriguez, Carmella (Anthony) Perrone, and Carol (Brian) Kilcoyne; his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Melissa, Orion, Sabrina, Adrian, Olivia Rose, Anthony II, Megan, and Shane; and his 2 dogs, Leo and Luna. In addition to his mother, David was predeceased by his son, Joseph Barry Guzowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Agnes Church (Precious Blood Parish), 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT 06460. Interment will follow at King's Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford, CT 06460. Friends and family may call AT THE CHURCH from 11:00 a.m. until noon mass. I had the pleasure of knowing David after he came on board at Lacey Manufacturing. A very nice man who never hesitated to give his time to try and help others and solve problems. His time with us was too short. Rest in peace, and our thoughts are with his family.
