David P. Osterberg, Jr., age 49, of Fairfield, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. David was a devoted family man who loved and adored his daughters who were everything to him. He was a dedicated employee of Stop and Shop and worked as Night Manager for eight years, where he developed many friendships. David was a talented musician and played multiple instruments, such as guitar, keyboard, and drums. If he wasn't creating music, he was listening to music! He attended many concerts and was a huge fan of John Lennon. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting at the firepit with his friend, Cheryl, listening to their favorite songs. David also enjoyed gardening and yard work. He loved spending time with family, picnics at the pool and large family game nights. He will be greatly missed by all. David's memory will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Julianna and Olivia Osterberg, of Orlando, FL; his parents, David P. Osterberg, Sr. and JoAnne Marzulla Osterberg, of Fairfield; his former wife and dear friend, Pamela Osterberg, of Orlando, FL; three sisters, Jacqueline Azarian (Gary), of Fairfield, Lory Moomjian (Jeff), of Fairfield, and Kristin Osterberg, of Fairfield; his long-time best friend, Cheryl Butz; aunts and uncles, Stephen Marzulla (Lorrie), of Colorado, Elizabeth Kovalusky (Charles), of Oxford, and Charles Osterberg, of Vermont; his grandmother, Barbara Osterberg, of Fairfield; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. David's family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Smilow Cancer Center for their outstanding care during his 2-year battle. All services will be held privately.
