David Riehl Obituary

David F. Riehl
David F. Riehl, age, 72 of Stratford, died Wednesday November 8, 2017 at the Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Riehl was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired Police Sargent for the Hamden Police Department after 27 years of service. He was a 1973 graduate of Sacred Heart University where he was captain of the Basketball Team. Dave was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He was predeceased by his wives; Jane Fagan Riehl and Sandra Barber Riehl and his daughter-in-law Barbara Riehl . He is survived by his 3 children, Franklin Riehl, David Riehl and his wife Mary all of Trumbull, and Darcy Riehl, of Stratford. Five grandchildren; David Riehl and his wife Ashley, Joseph Riehl and Emily Riehl, and Justin and Kristin Appleby. One great grandson, David Thomas Riehl III. All services will be private.
