An angel has gone home to the Heavens… after a lifetime of suffering and a recent 40 day bout with an acute illness, David Paul Viola passed on the evening of October 27, 2012 to be with the Lord in eternal life. He was the beloved son of Jane Meyer Viola of Milford and the late Paul Nicholas Viola. He was the blessed and beloved brother of Donna Viola Gregory of Milford, her daughters, Stephanie Rose Gregory of Stratford and Katherine Elizabeth Gregory of Boston, MA. He was the beloved brother of Peter Hildbridge Viola also of Milford. In addition, he leaves behind Aunt Mabel Meyer of VA, first cousins, Andrew Meyer of WV and cousin Ara Lyn Bush of NH and their children. Also first cousins Sally Lay Tonks of Old Lyme and her sister Sandra Lay Dalton of Old Lyme and their extended families. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Nicholas Peter Viola and Nellie Hurd Viola and maternal grandparents Hjalmar and Wilhelmina Meyer, Aunt Helen Lay Swift and Uncle Frank Hildridge Meyer.
David Paul Viola resided at Greer Circle in Milford for the majority of his life and for the past 10 years was a resident of West River Health Care Facility in Milford.
