Deborah Jean Post, a lifelong resident of Milford, passed away recently. Daughter of the late Wallace and Aileen (Wilkinson) Post, she graduated from Lauralton Hall and Sacred Heart University. Debbie was employed in the insurance industry and worked for The Hartford prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Milford Power Squadron and former Chair of the P.B.I.A. for over twenty years. She had a lifelong fondness for the beach, boating and the ocean. A loving aunt and sister, she was always available for her extended family. She enjoyed hosting family events and became creative with her culinary cuisine. She will be missed by her many friends and especially her family: brother Robert Post and wife Mary, sister Susan Becker, nephews and nieces Ken Becker, Robert Post, Lauren Post, Alicia Post and fiancé Dylan Lindstadt, grandniece Kayla Becker, along with aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life at Costa Azzurra, 72 Broadway in Milford, CT on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 11:30A.M. All services and burial will be private and are being handled by the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N Broad St., Milford.
