Edna Burby Obituary
Edna (Arsenault) Burby, age 102, of Fairfield, died on Friday, October 6, 2023 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Edna was predeceased by her loving husband John Burby, her daughter Joan Tellone and son Gregory Burby and grandson, Len Tellone III.
She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Avit and Marie Gallant. Edna's interests included square dancing, bowling, reading, going to the casino, watching the NY Yankee games and rarely missed a UCONN women's basketball game. Her favorite times were spent with her family making everlasting memories. She was a strong independent woman who put others before herself. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Waite (John), Diane Kloc (Joe), Terry Craft (Dave) and her son Tom Burby (Paula); and seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford.
