Louie, Johnny, Frankie and Eva. I wanted to say something about your mom that maybe someone hasn't said, but it appears that all of the good things that she brought to the world have basically been described in the passages here. I am especially and eternally grateful to your mother and all of you for what your family has given me. Short of telling an entire story, I will just say that if it were not for your mother and her kindness, caring personality, generosity, and basic good will toward people, I myself could not say where I may have wound up years ago. She extended herslef, your family, and your household to me when I needed it most and as if I were one of her family members. She never asked for anything in return and for the lenthily period of time she stood strong for me, I am eternally grateful. Thank you all. If there is ever anything that I can do for either one of you, please do not hesitate to contact me and if it is in my power, You can be sure that I will do what I can. God bless your mom and your family and thank you all.

To All of Eleanors' family--
I knew from the first moment that I met your mom that I had met a great soul!!! She was all those things that make someone unforgettable--super sense of humor, caring, concerned and always willing to lend an ear. Her loss happened so suddenly-I still can't beleive it-- I think of her daily in my prayers and whenever I walk by the front of HER OFFICE. She WAS that practice, and it IS perhaps FITTING that now sits empty!! She gave her all!! She will always be here in my minds eye, now she watches over us all as an ANGEL!! I'll never forget her--Love, Dr.K

Words can not express my heartfelt feelings for the loss of a loving mother, grandmother, "2nd mother" and friend.
I am blessed to have had the honor of being a part of your family and Eleanor's caring spirit. She was there for me and my kids when we needed nurturing and a place to go. I will always be thankful and always remember the good memories we all had with her, cus memories are the legacy of love. I look for the day when those happy memories can help ease the pain and make you all smile. Though I can't take away your pain, please know i am always available if you want to talk about it. I know how hard it is to miss your mom (and gramma and friend too...)and all I can say is; like life, some days are just better than others.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other and have peace in knowing that you all brought joy to her life in your own special ways as well.
May the God of your understanding be with you and give you peace always~
much love,
Michelle and the kids

My sweet gramcracker,
I miss you soooo much you dont even understand.I made you a grandma and you were the best i could ever ask for. Remember when i got out of the hospital when i was born and you first held me i smiled at you and the first time you baby sat me you feed me too many bananas. driving me in your huge car with my bed in the back seat treating me like a princess now you are one.Too many memories we shared together. I am sorry i broke my promise and didnt take care of you when you got sick but i was scared and you know that. The last time i saw you on christmas you were really sick and you scared me so bad, but at your wake you were so beautiful you were just missing you blue eye shadow and you nail polish. All i was waiting for is for you to wake up and i really wish you would of because i didnt want you to go. But now you are an angel and please be my guardian angel and watch over me always and i love you so much. And i will see you again someday. and be on the same bowling team as grandma brenda.rest in peace gram because now you are better forever. p.s i promise i will bring you your cookies i stole from you when i was little.(pecan sandies)I am sorry dad, uncle johnny, uncle frankie, and aunt eva. we will make it through this all together because gramma would want us to.
all my love,

Words will never do when I speak of my Elly. They just cannot begin to express how very much I love her! She is as close to my heart as anyone could be, or ever can be again. The first time I met Elly and we hugged for the first time gave me the feeling that I was HOME. I have so many fond, funny memories that will be a part of me forever. Secrets shared with each other that only this kind of friendship shares. We cried together, laughed together and most times laughed until we cried together. She is a part of my heart Eva, I know you already know that. The empty space in my heart that is aching beyond words right now, I know will eventually fill with only the good wonderful times, conversations, silly sister kind of giggling times we ALWAYS shared when we were together. In all the times we have shared together she never failed to tell me how much her family meant to her. She loved all of you kids so very much and found such great joy in all her grandbabies. She was PROUD of you all. Thanks Eva, John, Frankie and Louie for letting me a part of your mothers life. I will cherish it ALWAYS! Sleep sweet my dearest friend. I love you! I know you are with the angels and will be with me forever.

Dear Eva, Louie, Frankie & Johnny:
I am so sorry for your loss and for the terrible time that I know you are all going through. There is never a good time to lose a mother and one that was also your friend. I am sorry that I was not able to be there but I thought of all of you every minute. Although we did not have a relationship like most sisters Ellie will always remain in my heart. She was a good person with a big heart and I know from the time that I spent with her in Atlanta how much she loved all of you. You were her life. For the love that you all gave her I thank you for that. I am having a hard time expressing my feelings but please know that my heart is also broken and I am so sorry now for time that has been lost. I wish you all the best and you all have my love and deepest sympathies.
Much Love,

Dear Eva and family, so sorry to hear about Eleanor's passing. She was a very nice person and was loved by many. She helped me out a lot with advice whenever I was going through things. She was like a second mother to me. I knew her when she worked at Dr. Slepian's office in the professional building. I used to work at the answering service down the hall with all the other females. She was like a second mother to us. Everybody there is deeply saddened by her passing and share your grief. Evalis (Ivy) and I will try to attend the funeral on Wednesday and we will call at the funeral home tomorrow (Tuesday) and speak with you.
