Tsopanides, Elisavet "Lisa"
Elisavet (Lisa) Tsopanides passed away at home on July 8, 2014. She was 43 years old.
Lisa was born on July 27, 1970 to Rena Kalmanides Tsopanides and the late Triantafilos Tsopanides. Incredibly kind, gregarious and giving of herself, Lisa easily made friends of acquaintances and family of friends. She had a special way of impacting each person she met. Lisa's compassion for others was only matched by her generosity and spirit. Life will never be nearly as bright or beautiful without her.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Alexandria (Aleka), mother, Rena, brother, Timmy, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly, and her beloved canine companion, Elvis. She joins in peace her adored grandparents, Soteria and Demosthenis Kalmanides, much-loved brother, Dennis, and cherished cousin, Dean.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 13th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Road, Norwalk. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 14th, at 10:00 AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
Contributions may be made in Lisa's name to the Connecticut Humane Society (www.cthumane.org/) and/or the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).

I only knew Lisa for a small time, but she made that feel like I knew her my whole life. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was full of love and so giving. She had helped me through some rough days and I will miss her.
