Elsie Babycos Csaky, age 95, of Shelton, formerly of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, wife of the late Alexander Csaky, Jr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Louis and Julia Polik Babycos, Mrs. Csaky was a lifelong City resident before moving to Shelton seven years ago. She had worked as a secretary for the Harvey Hubbell Company for many years. Elsie was a longtime member of the former First United Church of Christ of Bridgeport. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Elsie enjoyed the times that she spent with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Csaky Hall and her husband David of Deep River, grandchildren Julia Hall and Ryan Hall and his wife Bretton. She leaves behind her brother, Robert Babycos and his wife Mary, a sister-in-law Virginia Babycos, special niece and nephew, Wynne Naber and Dr. Christopher Babycos, as well as nieces and nephews Virginia Millo, Alison Kodz, Patricia Reynolds, Mariellen Sereday, Louis Babycos and Letitia Frey. A visitation will take place on Monday, January 8, from 10 a.m. til 12 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center with a prayer service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., NY, NY 10001.
