Paul Csaky

Paul Csaky, 78, went home to be with the LORD on June 10, 2014.

He was born February 17, 1936 to Laszlo and Anna Csaky in Ura, Hungary.

He left Hungary to start a new life in the United States in 1958 and became a citizen in 1964. He worked as an expert machinist at TPM of Akron and later served as a starter at the Loyal Oak Golf Course. He was a skilled soccer player and referee, officiating at both the high school and college levels and served as President of the Ohio Soccer Referee Association. His greatest joys included time with his family and friends, golfing, fishing, boating and traveling. Paul will be remembered as a good friend, husband, and father who loved, provided for, and took great pride in his family. He was a faithful member of South Akron and Brunswick Hills Apostolic Christian Churches.

Paul leaves behind, his loving wife of 54 years, Mary (nee Gangel); sons, Paul (Pam) and Robert (Tracy); daughters, Mary Ann (John) Isak, Katalin (Wayne) Morris, and Melinda (Dan) Molina; brother-in-law, Jozsef (Helen) Gangel; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Laszlo (Etelka), and Joska (Mariska), sister, Katalin Deak; sister-in-law, Julika; many nieces and nephews; cousin, Steve Weisinger; and devoted friend, Margaret Csepe.

The family will greet friends at Bacher Funeral Home, 3250 Greenwich Rd., Norton on Friday, June 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service immediately following, Fred Hildenbrand officiating. Interment following at Copley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, OH 44307-2463 in memory of Paul.
