Enid Ellington Obituary

ELLINGTON Enid V. Ellington, age 79 of Bridgeport, departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2010. Born on June 22, 1931 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Arthur and Nettie Ellington, she was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Bridgeport. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Hubert Vassiana, Everton Wright, Bertram Johnson and Michael Johnson; daughters, Angela Bolton, Colleen Wright, Karen Smith and Andrea Hilton; sisters, Gloria Beaumont and Cherry Ellington; a brother, Stanley Bernard and his wife, Madge; and 28 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters, Nettie and Joyce. Friends are invited to meet directly at St. George Catholic Church, 443 Park Avenue, Bridgeport on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lester Gee Funeral Home 1390 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport.
