Eric D. Heard, 19 of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at East End Baptist Tabernacle Church, 548 Central Ave., Bridgeport. Friends are invited to the viewing Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. See www.mortonsmortuary.com.

I’m deeply saddened to hear of Eric’s death. I wish I got to see and talk to him again. My heart goes out to those who know and loved him, especially his grandmother. I miss you both and sending positive vibes to those grieving.

I am truly sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Eric. I knew Eric and his Gramma from my time working at Read School. Some kids you just don't forget, and Eric is one of them. He was very special. Again, I am so sorry.
