Eric Jones-Grant Obituary

GRANT Eric D. Jones-Grant, age 20, of Plantsville, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at Bradley Hospital, Southington. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Eric had been a resident of Bridgeport for 10 years prior to moving to Plantsville four years ago. He was a graduate of the Aces Village School. Survivors include his father, Eric Jones-Smith and mother, Maritza Grant, both of Bridgeport; two brothers, Trevor Jones of New York, and Kinsly Grant of Bridgeport; a sister, Anasha Jones-Grant of Bridgeport; paternal grandfather, Marvin L. Diaz of Bridgeport; paternal grandmother, Clarisa Jones-Smith of New York; paternal great-grandmother, Iris Brown of Bridgeport, and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 10 a.m. at Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress Street, Bridgeport. Interment will take place in Park Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Church. Morton's Mortuary, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport, is in charge of arrangements.
